Delivery Terms and Conditions:

We are happy to deliver our products to you Australia wide, provided you have a mainland Australia or Tasmanian address. (If you live on a small island please contact us before placing an order.)

Full payment of order is required prior to dispatch or pick up of goods.

Delivery costs and shipping lead times vary as they are calculated based on cubic size/weight of order and it’s destination.

We cannot deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers as our products are too large.

We reserve the right to refuse shipment to specific locations that are inaccessible with standard delivery services.

Melbourne Metro Delivery:

Orders with a larger cubic volume will be delivered via to Divine Peace Transport.

After your order is paid in full, your details will be forwarded to DPT for processing.

Once their delivery run has been confirmed, DPT will contact you directly (usually via SMS) to advise a delivery day and time window. (When the courier calls or messages, it may appear as a blocked number on your phone. Please ensure you respond to the call or text to confirm your delivery spot.) This process generally takes 2-3 business days. 

Melbourne metro delivery is usually within 4-7 business days but can be delayed during peak times.  Deliveries are available Monday to Friday.

Please note, Outdoor Living Direct do not control the courier operations and cannot be responsible for allocating delivery day/time or for any delays that may arise.

This freight service is a two-person team.  They will carry your order to your nominated area (backyard or patio) providing it is safe to do so and adequate access is available. Removal of packaging or furniture assembly is not included in the freight price.

Orders with a smaller cubic volume will be dispatched via Hunter Express. (see Victorian regional/interstate delivery terms below for more information).

Victoria Regional & Interstate Delivery:

In-stock items will generally leave our warehouse within three working days. A dispatch notification will be emailed to you after goods are shipped, advising consignment note number and tracking details. (Please note, during peak times, the dispatch lead time can vary.)

Hunter Express handles our Vic regional and interstate freight (and smaller cubic volume orders for Melbourne metro areas).

Outdoor Living Direct request that all consignees are contacted by the freight carrier prior to delivery. Please note, this is not always possible, especially during times of high freight movement.

Our delivery offer is based on a single courier/driver unloading packaged products to a driveway, loading dock, or nearby ground floor area immediately adjacent to the delivery vehicle. Deliveries cannot be made to underground car parks as the trucks cannot negotiate these areas. Deliveries are made between 9:00am and 5:00pm weekdays. The courier drivers are not our employees and are not required to carry your furniture further than the access point of your business or residence. Drivers will need assistance to carry large items. The courier is not required to unpack the items, assemble furniture or remove unwanted packaging.

If your order includes multiple boxes, they may be freighted individually. This incurs no additional cost and helps to expedite the shipping process. Because of this, your order may be split and delivered by separate courier drivers.

We reserve the right to restrict specific product lines from interstate delivery due to size/weight restrictions.


Transit Lead Times:

These times are a guide only and are subject to change. They refer to working days and do not include the day of pick up.

VIC Regional: 4-5 working days
NSW: 6-10 working days
QLD: 7-12 working days
SA: 5-7 working days
WA: 9-12 working days
ACT: 4-6 working days
NT: 9-12 working days
TAS: 9-12 working days

Delays in Transit:

Delays in transit, although infrequent, are sometimes unavoidable. We work very hard with our carriers to provide an excellent service, but circumstances beyond our control will occasionally occur. Should such a delay occur we will work with you to minimise any inconvenience, however, we will not be held responsible for such delays. Please note that an order cancelled by you in transit will be treated as a '30 day guarantee return' and you will receive a full refund, less shipping each way, once the items have been returned to us in good order and condition.

Although we work hard to package products carefully, sometimes damages do occur.

It is most important that you inspect your items carefully when you receive them. If you detect any damage to the packaging, please photograph the evidence prior to unpacking. 

After unpacking, if goods have been affected, please photograph the damage and email all photos to with your invoice and contact details so a team member can assist.

Customer Pick Up and Freight:

You may choose to organise your own delivery. In this case all insurance for loss or damage in transit will be the customer’s responsibility.

You are welcome to pick up your purchase from our Cheltenham warehouse at 337 Warrigal Rd (access via Barlow Ave) by appointment only. 

Pick up is available Monday to Friday 10am to 3.45pm. Prior notification will be required to ensure your product(s) are ready for you when you arrive.
